Hey, I’m Lucas, and I’m the founder of Larrikin Outdoors. This all started as a passion project born out of my love for camping, road trips, and getting out there to explore Australia. Like many of you, I found myself struggling to organise my camping gear in a small SUV. It always seemed like I was wrestling with plastic tubs and loose equipment scattered throughout the vehicle. It wasn’t practical, and it definitely wasn’t enjoyable.
I wanted a better way to keep everything organised and accessible while on the road. I needed a system that was tough enough to handle the rough and varying conditions of Australia, but still compact enough for everyday life. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to build it myself. That’s when Larrikin Outdoors was born.

Every product we create is designed with real campers in mind, especially those who drive smaller SUVs and don’t want to be weighed down by bulky, permanently installed equipment.

Our removable, modular storage system is built for flexibility, allowing you to adapt your setup to suit any trip. With an in-house CNC router and a hands-on approach to manufacturing, we craft each component right here in Australia, using high-quality materials sourced locally. We don’t cut corners, and we wouldn’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves.
